Squarespace templates for consultants

Previously I've compiled a list of my favorite consultant website examples and given how popular Squarespace was used, I've decided to make a list of the best Squarespace templates that any consultant can use to build their site.

Whether you're in the health and fitness space, business, design, or fashion, there's a Squarespace that'll fit your use case.

These are handpicked from the Squarespace gallery, and I tried my best to explain the pros and cons of each template so you can decide if it's best for you.

Here are a few things to know before you read on:

1. The templates mentioned below are for Squarespace 7.1. They are free, but you will still need a Squarespace plan to use them.
2. Even though these are pre-made templates, you can absolutely customize any section, color, and layout for the site — thanks to Squarespace's fluid engine.
3. These templates are handpicked for what I personally think is best for consultants based on my experience working with previous clients.

1. Almar

Personally, Almar is among the best Squarespace templates for consultants who are looking to build a personal brand.

Why?

Because it already features a lot of the components for a personal brand site, for example, you get dedicated sections to feature your profile, highlight your past clients, and drive potential customers to book a consultation with you.

✅ The Good

• Warm and friendly design with plenty of room to feature your profile image.
• Pre-built blog page for your writings and journal.
• Dedicated customer testimonials sections and page.
• Various call-to-action buttons to book consultations across the site.
• Pre-built subscription page for your service.
• Newsletter sign-up form to build a mailing list for your business.

❌ The Bad

• The page footer is pretty basic, which you'll need to customize.

⭐ Bottom Line

Overall, a great template for consultants who want to build a personal brand.

2. Lakshi

Lakshi is a template that's specifically made for personal trainers, nutritionists, or health consultants in general.

What I like about this template is that the color theme, website copy, and custom images were designed with this audience in mind, so if you're thinking of building a consulting business in the health and fitness space, you'll have a great head start.

✅ The Good

• Dedicated sections to feature your profile.
• Pre-built booking form for customers to schedule a session with you.
• Soft animation that features your services.
• Pre-built blog with custom images included.
• Dedicated section to feature past client and media appearances.
• Newsletter sign-up form to build a mailing list for your business.

❌ The Bad

• Font choice isn't the best (customizable).
• Wish there were more layout variety in the template.

⭐ Bottom Line

Great starting template for personal trainers or consultants in the health and fitness industry. Plenty of features are included, so all you have to do is add your own content, and you'll be ready to launch your service.

3. Amal

Amal is great for UX designers, front-end developer, or consultants in the tech space who wants a quick way to build a CV to highlight their credentials.

CVs are usually pretty boring, but this template uses a combination of stylized fonts and animation to help you stand out.

✅ The Good

• Great font pairing (though this is subjective).
• Clean layout.
• There's an accordion menu that features your specialties.
• Dedicated page for your speaking engagements.

❌ The Bad

• Not a fan of this color palette, but thankfully you can easily customize it.
• The footer is pretty basic

⭐ Bottom Line

Great for consultants in the tech space who wants to build a professional CV that doesn't look boring quickly.

4. Meriden

Meriden is a template that's made for coaches or business consultants; plenty of copy has already been pre-written, so you'll get a head start there.

On top of that, the template also has a few key pages pre-built, such as:

• A course page
• A consultation booking page
• A page for workshops (1:1 private, mentorship, group coaching, etc.)
• A page for podcast episodes
• Privacy and Terms & Conditions page

The overall color scheme is vibrant (this is customizable) and features a slew of slick animations throughout the site.

✅ The Good

• A template built for coaches or business consultants with key pages already built
• Vibrant color palette
• Clean typography
• Email subscription form included
• Slick animation

❌ The Bad

• The site design heavily relies on a single color tone (customizable).
• Key pages are hidden with a submenu

⭐ Bottom Line

A great starting template for coaches and business consultants but may require a fair bit of customization.

5. Nolan

Nolan is a simple, no-fluff template for design and marketing consultants who just need a basic marketing site for their business.

Despite its simplistic layout and design, it does incorporate a few key features for any business, which are a portfolio page, a service page, an about page for the company, and a contact page.

✅ The Good

• Porfolio.
• There's a dedicated page to feature portfolios and case studies.
• Clean typography
• Good balance of image use

❌ The Bad

• It may be too simplistic for some.
• Need to rely on professional photographs to add contrast and personality to the site.

⭐ Bottom Line

This template is great for design, marketing, or business consultants who need a simple but professional marketing site for their online presence.

6.  Bloom

Bloom is a Squarespace template that's specifically made for business consultants.

I like that the home page is designed just like a high-converting landing page, with:

• Big call-to-action button at the top of the fold.
• A section to describe yourself and your coaching experience.
• A section for your USP (Unique selling point)
• The offer section (with pricing)
• Testimonial section
• Additonal Call-t0-action buttons in between and at the end of the page.

On top of that, there are Courses, 1-to-1 coaching, and Membership pages prebuilt.

✅ The Good

• A comprehensive template for any business consultants
• High-converting landing page layout
• Pre-built membership pages
• Blog pages are included
• There's a dedicated section for lead magnet

❌ The Bad

• Basic footer

⭐ Bottom Line

This template is great for coaches with multiple product or service offers.

7. Cami

Cami is another Squarespace template that's perfect for UI/UX designers or consultants.

The main difference between Cami and Amal is that Cami has dedicated sections to feature your design portfolio and a pre-built blog to showcase your writing.

✅ The Good

• A clean layout that features portfolio.
• Pre-built blog pages to write case studies or articles for the industry.
• Dedicated page for your profile and awards won.

❌ The Bad

• Not my favorite color palette (but it's customizable)
• Basic footer.

⭐ Bottom Line

This template is a portfolio-focused template for UI/UX designers and consultants with a knack for writing.

8. Ortiz

If you're a personal stylist, image consultant, or fashion consultant, then Ortiz is the template you want to consider.

This template features some of the more dynamic layouts I've seen from Squarespace, and the font pairing is great too.

✅ The Good

• Dynamic layout, great font pairing, and vibrant color palette.
• Pre-built booking page to schedule a session with you.
• There's a gallery to feature your past work and clients.
• Email subscription form included to help build a mailing list.
• A dedicated page to write about your personal story.
• Slick animation throughout the site.

❌ The Bad

• No blog (but you can easily add it)

⭐ Bottom Line

A great starter template for personal stylists, image consultants, or fashion consultants to build a branded site.
