While compiling a list of my favorite nonprofit website examples, I've noticed how popular Squarespace was used, so I've decided to make a list of the best Squarespace templates that were specifically designed for nonprofits, NGOs and charity organization.
These are handpicked from the Squarespace gallery, and I tried my best to explain the pros and cons of each template so you can decide if it's best for you.
Malone is a template that's specifically designed for non-profit rescue shelters, pet charities, or NGOs related to animals.
What I like about this template is that it has all the essential pages an NGO website is expected to have, and there are pre-built checkout pages to help collect donations too.
✅ The Good
Almost feature complete. Minimal setup is required to launch a full-fledged marketing site for pet NGOs.
Pre-built donation page and checkout.
Pre-built blog pages
Integrated social media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (with options to add more).
❌ The Bad
The overall site layout is simplistic, which may not be preferable for some.
⭐ Bottom Line
Overall, a great starting template for pet NGOs to quickly set up a marketing site to promote their cause and collect donations.
Bailard is a simple template with clean layout built for organizations, particularly those in the non-profit or NGO sector.
There's nothing fancy about the template but it comes with a few handy features that'll help NGOs promote their campaigns, such as allocating various sections for project and partners write up as well as a blog section for latest news and program announcement.
There's also an email newsletter to help build a mailing list for your followers.
✅ The Good
Focus on Mission and Impact: The template emphasizes the organization's mission, activities, and impact, which makes a strong impression on potential donors and volunteers.
Calls to Action— The template includes multiple calls to action, encouraging visitors to learn more, get involved, donate, or subscribe for updates.
Simple, professional and clean aesthetic design.
Donation button and checkout for donors.
News section (i.e blog) for followers to keep track of your organization's news.
❌ The Bad
The footer of this template may be lacking for some organizations.
The call-to-action buttons for this template doesn't stand out as much as other templates.
⭐ Bottom Line
Bailard makes a good starting template for organizations looking for a template with a clean and professional layout

Pre-built blog page.
Dedicated consultation booking page.
